Employee Schedule

The Employee Schedule feature allows you to define and manage the regular working hours for each employee. To access this feature, navigate to the Settings screen, click the Employees button, and select Schedule from the dropdown menu.

Managing Employee Schedules

The application provides two ways to enter and manage employee work schedules:

1. All Employees

Click the All Employees button to display a schedule view that allows you to enter and manage the working hours of multiple employees by day of the week. This option is useful when you want to manage the schedules of several employees from a single screen.

2. Select Employee

Click the Select Employee button to choose a specific employee. Once an employee is selected, you can view and manage their working schedule for all seven days of the week.

Updating Employee Working Hours

To update an employee's working hours for a particular day:

  1. Locate the employee and the corresponding day of the week.
  2. Click the cell under the Start Time column to specify the beginning of the employee's shift.
  3. Select the desired time and click OK.
  4. Click the cell under the End Time column to specify the end of the employee's shift.
  5. Select the desired time and click OK.

Repeat these steps for each day of the week and for every employee whose working hours you want to manage.

Important Notes About Employee Schedules

The employee schedule represents the employee's regular weekly working hours throughout the year. It is a recurring schedule and does not apply to a specific calendar week.

Employee working hours also determine their service availability within the application. For example, in the beauty salon software, customers can only book appointments with an employee during the working hours configured for that employee on the corresponding day of the week.

Maintaining accurate employee schedules helps ensure that service bookings and appointments are restricted to each employee's designated working hours.
